| Ancient History | Discuss Ch. 3: The Rise of Aristocracy. Discuss the shift from an egalitarian society to an aristocracy. | Read chapter 4-6 of textbook. Find two instances of "doubleness" in chapter 4. Come to class prepared to discuss the concept of doubleness in Egyptian society, as well similar examples you can think of from the Bible. | Discuss ch. 4.
